Jim’s enthusiasm for hands-on engineering will see him fabricating his own widgets to create innovative automated solutions, always thinking ‘outside of the box’ to solve problems beyond perceived constraints. With over 25 years’ experience in the AV/IT industry, Jim is highly respected and very well connected. He has a long successful track record of designing and delivering high-profile, award-winning projects, most notably for the National Assembly for Wales, Mauritius Commercial Bank, and NATO HQ in Brussels.

With over 35 years’ experience working with international consultancy Arup, Jim has vast experience in system design, research, training and project management for telecommunications providers, consultants, and private industry both in the UK and overseas. He is well known internationally for his research into Smart and Sustainable Buildings and has published several articles and presented at many conferences around the world.
